Enrika M. Sissle grew up on the Northside of Tallahassee, Florida and studied theatre and music at Tallahassee Community College. She later worked her way through college and received her bachelors degree in performance theatre from Florida A&M University.
Upon graduation she interned for the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando, Florida as an Entertainment Manager at EPCOT. In 2002, she married her college sweetheart and they then moved to Atlanta, Ga. to begin their lives.
Feeling the weight of the recession, they returned to Florida with their children, while Enrika worked as a teacher and founded many after-school drama programs at various schools.
Her lifelong dream of owning her own theatre and entertainment company wasn’t realized until 2014 after she returned to school to earn her masters degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. An impromptu 3-hour conversation with her college acting buddy, Vonzel Reynolds, lead to the creation of Midtown Entertainment Group in April 2014.
Some of Enrika’s past performances include, The Dining Room, The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, Godspell, Smokey Joe’s Café, a Nascar Commercial, Once on this Island, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, and many more.
